Routine and travel vaccinations for all ages are available during surgery hours by appointment and no later than six weeks before your travel date. Please speak to the reception team who will provide you with a form to complete for information regarding your travel plans. This will be passed on to the Practice Nurse who will assertain from your medical records and travel guidance which vaccinations and advice you will require. An appointment will then be made with the Nurse.
We run seasonal influenza vaccination clinics for all patients aged over 65 and the under 65s in an at risk group. These sessions are advertised in surgery.
We do not provide a smoking cessation service at the surgery but our Receptionists will be able to provide you with contact details for the local Kirklees Stop Smoking Service if required.
Clinics for blood tests. If you have been requested to fast for your blood test then please have nothing to eat or drink, other than water to quenche your thirst, for twelve hours prior to your appointment. We can also book you an appointment through the extended service at The Huddersfield Royal Infirmary on a Saturday morning. Please ask one of our reception team for further advice.

We provide a full range of contraceptive services. Please make an appointment with the Practice Nurse for this service. If you require emergency contraception discuss this with Reception so you can be seen appropriately.
Drs Sharman and Atkinson undertake minor surgery with assistance from the Practice Nurse.
Dr Sharman undertakes joint and soft tissue steroid injections.
